Reaction to, Don Norman on Three Ways Good Design Makes You Happy.
Happiness creates a better design, and people enjoy using and want things that make them happy and feel good. Something can make a person feel powerful or nervous. A person is going to pick the good/safe option because it makes them feel better. A fun design more often than not makes the consumer enjoy using the product, and when you design when you are happy the end result is easier to get to and often better than if you were not happy. This pertained to major because in graphic design your design should make the consumer feel, and make them want to look at the ad, or buy the product.
