After watching a video featuring the IDEO design process firm, I learned many things about the design process of new products. The process involves many stages that include, learning about the current product, what's bad/good, who uses it, etc, then trying different and new designs that improve the product. One very important piece of information I learned was to come up with weird, out of the box ideas, so then more realistic ideas are though of, and end up being really good. After lots of information, numerous sketches, ideas, and prototypes a designer can come up with a really well designed object/product.
